ABOUT CHARLIE MILLER
Charlie Miller is an Of-Counsel real estate and business attorney at Bernstein Shur. He is a member of the firm\'s Real Estate and Business Law Practice Groups. Charlie has been an attorney at Bernstein Shur since 1979, was a Shareholder for 31 years, and served for ten (10) years as Bernstein Shur\'s Chief Executive Officer. Charlie currently serves on the firm\'s Hiring, Diversity and Pro-Bono Committees. Charlie\'s multi-state practice incorporates all elements of real estate law, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing, management, and development of real estate. He also focuses on business planning, including asset and stock sales and purchases, investment banker selection, formation of partnerships and other business structures, entity planning, and strategy and succession planning. Charlie is recognized by Chambers USA (Real Estate ranking), Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers for his work in real estate law. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell. Charlie was also named the 2013 Top Rated Lawyer in Real Estate Law by the American Law Media and Martindale Hubbell. Charlie was the 2013 commencement speaker at Husson University and received the Chesley H. Husson Award from the University for his work as a mentor, teacher, civic leader and his commitment to pro-bono work. Charlie completed a five (5) year term in 2013 as the North American Vice Chair of the Lex Mundi Managing Partner\'s Committee. Miller currently serves as an international co-chair of Lex Mundi\'s GOAL Taskforce focusing on leadership opportunities for women in the law.
