ABOUT JOHN CARPENTER

I have spent my professional career at Bernstein Shur, as a member of the Business Law Practice Group providing strategic counseling to businesses and business people with respect to a variety of issues. I have represented clients as outside general counsel and with respect to mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, business fiduciary and corporate governance matters, business development and business start-ups. My clients include public and private companies, entrepreneurs and non-profit companies involved in a wide range of industries, including consumer products, health care, oil and gas and alcoholic beverages. I currently serve as co-chair of the Business Law Practice and as a member of the Board of Directors at Bernstein Shur.Specialties: I assist clients with a wide range of matters, sometimes in the capacity of an outside general counsel. As for specific areas of practice, my practice largely consists of work on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and debt and equity structuring and financings, as well as other complex transactions and contract matters.
