I work internally and externally to develop and extend opportunities for IBM Systems both with our channel partners, including CTOs and Technical Directors, and with the IBM client teams and IBM Systems brand teams in our market. Our key mission is to enable our partners and sellers to understand and technically sell our Systems products and solutions, both the traditional hardware range and the new workloads such as Open Source DB, AI and Software Defined Storage which are often now deployed cloud native and are driven by a DevOps mindset. In complex opportunities I lead the solution and proposal team to bring my architecture and solution skills to deliver winning proposals. More recently I have been working with Cloud Service Providers where the key play was enabling dynamic capacity for the Power Systems within their clouds allowing billing to be to the minute, and allowing them to leverage the RedHat acquisition that bought the application modernisation via Openshift and Cloud Paks into their offerings.
