Under general supervision from the Housing Resources Division Director, I am responsible for the efficient operation of the Housing Programs that HOC offers.Responsible for the implementation of the Administrative Plan and Equal Housing Opportunity Plan for the programs including all outreach to prospective applicants and landlords.Ensures the Authority\'s policies and procedures are being followed in the day-to-day operation of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.Oversees duties such as: receiving applications, verifying information, overseeing move-in process, calculating rent, scheduling re-examinations and inspections and other contacts with landlords as required.Reviews proposed regulation changes, Federal Registers and PIH Notices to keep up-to-date on changing policies and regulations.Implements policy changes with approval from the Housing Resources Division Director.Conducts quality control on rent reasonableness to determine that a reasonable method will be used to determine rents are reasonable by taking into consideration location, size, type, quality, age amenities, housing services and utilities.Conducts staff meetings to disseminate information on an as-needed basis.
