ABOUT CHARLENE A.

I\'m the modern day engineer. While my left brain typically runs the show and I have a knack at problem solving, I\'m a diverse professional. I took a break from the industry in 2011 to run my own yoga studio where I picked up invaluable experience on teaching, marketing, budgeting, and most importantly, creating relationships. I returned to the world of engineering in 2013 with a fresh set of eyes and a new appreciation for the industry and of my colleagues\' talents.Fast forward to present day and I now help run a household with my biggest responsibility yet, mothering two children. But, the biggest surprise I get is when I tell people I want to write.\"An engineer that enjoys writing!\" I know, it\'s unheard of. I hope to expand my technical writing experience to create some solid engineering documents that professionals and your average Jane can use to inform, educate, and dare I say inspire themselves on design projects to come!I hope to guide and mentor females in STEM whether they are just starting college, an intern, and/or just starting out in their first job. I hope I can be a resource of experience, information, and support to help guide women in their careers.
