ABOUT CHANDRA FERNANDEZ

I am a seasoned sales professional with over 27 years of extensive experience in the electronic components industry. I have developed a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record of success. In my current role as a Key Account Executive, I serve as the single point of contact for large, multi-location, complex accounts. I have led strategic account planning processes, developed performance objectives and financial targets, and negotiated contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Additionally, I have built influential relationships at the senior management and C-level, enabling me to effectively navigate and collaborate with key stakeholders. Prior to my role as a Key Account Executive, I served as a Field Sales Representative for eight years, where I was responsible for selling a wide range of electronic components, including Semiconductors, Electromechanical, Connectors, Power Supplies, Capacitors, and Resistors. During this time, I successfully built and maintained influential customer and supplier relationships, developed strategic sales and marketing plans, and effectively communicated market conditions to internal and external stakeholders. I also managed accounts, proactively sought out new prospects, and oversaw large-scale value-added projects. Before joining Arrow Electronics, I served as a Distribution Sales Manager for Tech Coast Sales, where I managed a network of channel distribution partners. In this role, I increased awareness and capabilities of represented lines, developed unique programs to meet partner needs, and coordinated all channel marketing activities. I also provided accurate product information and conducted training for distributor sales representatives.
