The Director of People and HR Strategy at the MIT, Media Lab, serves as a key member of the lab’s senior leadership team and advisor to the Faculty Director on organizational issues.\\\\n- Collaborate with senior management on HR strategic planning and develop, lead, and implement activities to meet the lab’s goals\\\\n- Collaborate with staff on devising and implementing HR strategy\\\\n- Develops tools to measure progress and pursue continuous improvement\\\\n- Apply workplace climate research and survey data to inform HR policy procedures\\\\n- Manage organizational change\\\\n- Foster a diverse, equitable, inclusive work environment; facilitates identification and engagement of top talent, including search and visa processes\\\\n- Act as a resource on job classification, hiring, compensation, retention, performance development, management, skill career development, succession planning, HR policies practices, and best practices\\\\n- Initiates staff enrichment, professional development, training, and team-building activities\\\\n- Resolve employee relations issues\\\\n- Serve on MIT and Media Lab committees and projects\\\\n- Chair the DEI Working Group\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
