Conduct many different types of cetacean research, including photo identification, behavioral analyses, and marine mammal observations for the purposes of distribution and abundance. Specializes in marine mammal mitigation, research, and monitoring and provides project management, permitting, and technical support as a marine mammal scientist for clients in the government and private sectors. Project support includes marine mammal research, monitoring and mitigation management; project and task management; technical report writing and editing; permitting and project planning; preparing and implementing marine mammal research, monitoring and mitigation programs; and client communication. She is experienced with NEPA, the MMPA, and ESA requirements, as well as NOAA\'s marine mammal acoustic technical guidance, and has worked on numerous permitting actions including IHAs and LOAs. Assisted in the development of multiple IHAs, LOAs, BAs, Construction and Operations Plans and Protected Species Marine Monitoring Plans for offshore wind clients. She has conducted threatened and endangered species reviews and developed biological characterizations for various clients, providing project support for fossil, nuclear, and natural gas facilities.
