TESS Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity established to fund research in search of a treatment or cure of Citrate Transporter Disorder, a genetic neurological disorder associated with the gene SLC13A5. We are also here to serve as a resource to families who are impacted by the genetic disorder and to facilitate the sharing of information to those engaged in research on the topic. To date, we have funded groundbreaking research that has identified the function of the gene responsible for the disorder.
