ABOUT CATHERINE BENNINGTON
Catherine is a Vancouver-based Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Visual Artist. She is a fearless creator; one who continually strives to bring beauty into the world through communication, art, and design. An attuned and practiced listener, Catherine adeptly navigates what brands say about themselves, bringing visibility to the once invisible. Catherine studied Fine Arts at UBC Okanagan and received a BFA with a major in Visual Arts and a minor in Art History and Visual Culture. Her work as an artist has been displayed in over 30 exhibitions, both locally and internationally, and she has been published in several printed and digital catalogues. She graduated at the head of her class, receiving the Medal in Fine Arts as well as other distinctions during her degree. Following her BFA and working with local Vancouver brands in visual merchandising, she obtained a certificate of Graphic Design from BCIT, where she refined and amplified her approach to visual design. Catherine is a passionate and creative designer, focused on helping brands communicate their company vision to the world. She is extremely versed in digital, print, and physical mediums as a designer, understanding that the visual experience is multi-layered.
