ABOUT MATHEUS CASTRO

PORTFOLIO AVAILABLE AT: https://castromath.com/Fashion and Textile Designer, with experience in Textile, Prints, Fashion, and Retail. Assertive and focused on meeting art briefings and deadlines. Outstanding communication skills developed by collaborating with numerous teams. Proven commercial awareness in Retail both with Visual Merchandising and Management. Now working as a Textile Designer in Dublin - Ireland, and remotely, as a freelancer for Brazilian companies. As a Carpet Designer, I now work for the aviation business, briefed by companies from all over the world, following high standards to achieve Boeing and Airbus approved textile products. As a print designer, I worked for menswear, womenswear, and teenager fashion segments developing products, repeat/placement and silkscreen prints mixing manual and digital techniques - such as typography - and different types of embroideries. As a Fashion Designer, I worked with trends research, assortment analysis, and tech pack development, always focused on details, without losing the commitment, and the \"sense of urgency\" acquired in fast-paced environments such as Retail where I previously worked from 20••••18. I believe that the acquired retail knowledge makes me think of the final product commercially and more assertively.
