ABOUT CASPER VROEMEN
Dr. Casper Vroemen has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable, innovative solutions across health, food, consumer and industrial markets. He serves as IFF’s Chief R&D Officer and Senior Vice President R&D - Health and Biosciences. Vroemen joined the Company in 2004 as a scientist and project leader. Over the past two decades, he has assumed increasing responsibility in research and development in Europe and the U.S. He has played a significant role in establishing IFF as a bioscience powerhouse. During his tenure, he oversaw the company’s leading position in the protein engineering of industrial enzymes, contributed to the commercialization of many new biotech products and production processes, and is a prolific inventor named on many patents.Vroemen furthers IFF’s efforts in bioscience innovation, leading the company’s global bioscience R&D strategy, technological development, innovation pipeline, and external collaborations. Vroemen holds a Master of Science and Engineering in Molecular Life Sciences and a doctorate in Molecular Biology from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He serves on the board of the Innovation Space.
