ABOUT CARTER SHUTE
I got my calling to the business world back in the summer of 2020 when I found a power washer in my garage, and started Carter Shute’s “Quick and Clean Power Washing”. From there my business journey began. I needed to get the word about my business out, so I marketed via flyers, nextdoor app and word of mouth. For accounting/ finance, I learned how to create and manage a profitable business, using excel. I learned the power of expansion when I started to find more and more power-washers, and would manage and source my friends to houses in order to generate more profits. While the money was intriguing, the skills of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, operating and management that I developed in this business gave me integral, hands on experience in the business world. I want to continue to develop my skills in a more scalable business and specifically improve my sales and financial skills.
