I build and own businesses in Rwanda, working across advisory and long-term ownership to combine proximity to execution with real skin in the game.My background includes several years in management consulting at McKinsey, followed by building and advising organizations on the ground in Africa. Over time, I’ve chosen a model where advisory and ownership run in parallel: advisory work keeps me close to execution realities across institutions and sectors, while long-term ownership creates accountability and a sustained focus on outcomes.Today, my work spans two connected areas:• Advisory and execution support — as Founding Partner of an expert advisory network based in Kigali, working with public institutions, startups, and organizations on strategy, operations, and delivery• Investment and long-term ownership — as Founder and Chair of a Rwanda-based holding company investing in productive assets, including operating businesses and real estate. Our first hospitality venture, Luma & Lua in Kigali, recently opened.Across both, the focus is consistent: building well-governed, real-economy businesses that perform financially and create employment as a core operating outcome.I’m particularly interested in patient capital, strong local teams, and ownership models that stay close to execution.
