ABOUT CAROLINE POTTS

As a dual-degree student at the University of Iowa, pursuing a B.B.A. in Management & Leadership alongside a B.A. in English & Creative Writing (Publishing Track) with a minor in Music, I thrive with work that involves both business strategy and storytelling.Currently, I work a State Farm\'s headquarters in Bloomington, IL. As a Web Content Marketing Intern, I have learned so much about search engine optimization, brand storytelling, and generative AI by optimizing articles! I have also found the importance of working with other teams. State Farm has pushed me to collaborate with coworkers who have very different roles in marketing, and the product has vastly improved because of our hard work together.At the University of Iowa, I am Delta Sigma Pi\'s Senior Vice President, where I have learned what it means to be a compassionate, effective leader by managing recruitment processes, coordinating large-scale events, and mentoring my peers. I am also a Presidential Scholar, Tippie Business Honor Society member, and Alpha Chi Omega\'s secretary. In these organizations, I have developed strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.While studying abroad at the CIMBA School of Business in Italy, I worked as a Blog Ambassador. This allowed me to share my thrilling travel experiences, promote international education, and engage with audiences through storytelling.Back in the United States, I have had experience as a Writing Fellow and an Editor for UniMovers. In these roles I honed my ability to craft compelling narratives, provide constructive editorial feedback, and implement SEO strategies.Now, I am eager to apply my passion for writing, leadership, and strategic communication in roles that involve content creation, marketing, publishing, and business development. I\'m always open to collaboration and new opportunities!
