ABOUT CAROLINE DINELLO

I am a Senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville who is majoring in communications with a focus on Public Relations accompanied by a minor in Journalism and Electronic Media. As I continue my degree in Communications I am a valuable source for individuals, companies, and organizations to market, enhance and broaden their public image. I have a creative outlet in marketing and advertising as well as a love for journalism, all of which can add to my resume in applying for various employment within the Communications industry. Through obtaining a minor in journalism and electronic media, I am adding to my skill set in becoming a comprehensive value to any employment within the marketing and public relations arena. I have become proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and I have familiarity with Adobe Suite, which add to my marketability as an employee. My greatest strength is planning ahead and organization within any field I am in. I have obtained jobs and been involved in committees where organization is imperative and I excelled at fulfilling this need. Collaborative environments are also where I thrive as I am always open to new ideas and my driven dynamic allows for effective communication within the workplace.Through my most recent work as the Vice President of Alumni relations at Phi Mu at the University of Tennessee, I have also added event planning to my list of skills. I became proficient in managing a team, procuring event space and vendors, managing a budget, as well as obtaining signage and promotion for three major events. This proved my managerial, problem solving, multitasking and communication abilities and I found a passion for seeing a project from start to finish.
