In my current role, I work with councils and CVS groups to enable access to funding for local good causes and charities through Community Lotteries. This role absolutely fulfills me, and it is wonderful to be involved in such a productive and impactful endeavour.I have over 20 years’ experience in direct sales and relationship management. Beginning my career with the Bank of Scotland in 1994 gave me a solid foundation for what is required to be a successful salesperson. From an early age, I have been naturally inquisitive (or as my mother would say, incredibly nosey ), always asking questions and trying to understand people. Sales roles came easily to me, as I thrive in situations where I meet new people.My natural curiosity and tireless work ethic have allowed me to work across multiple sectors including financial services, legal services, transportation, construction, retail, and insurance providing me with rich experience in engaging with people from all professional levels and walks of life.
