My team is responsible for furnishing the daily electric and steam systems peak demand forecasts for Con Edison Company of New York, Inc (Con Edison) and Orange & Rockland (O&R). We also develop the electric, gas, and steam systems design criteria that it is used as a guidance to invest in new infrastructure to meet the growing demand. In addition, my team represents my position as third party metering authority and reconcile and report the load service entities responsibilities serving load in Con Edison and O&R service territories for both energy and capacity to the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), PJM, and market participants.As third party Metering Authority we are active parties in the interconnection agreements, design, and energy accounting for new battery storage and in charge of measuring and forecasting solar production in the CECONY and O&R service territories.
