ABOUT CARLOS BARBIERI

My goal is to inspire professionals and entities by sharing technical knowledge in consultancies, advisory services, events and courses related to the science and productive sustainability of agricultural and livestock commodities, helping them to take important steps in the main transitions towards improved processes of a clean economy. Economy, with improved energy matrices in fossil fuels, circularity and food. With the transfer of the latest scientific knowledge involving the grain and animal protein production chains, it helps to increase the positive impact of its activities, which can contribute to the fulfillment of the environmental agendas of the member countries of the United Nations, in addition to the Paris Treaty and the new European anti-deforestation rule EUDR. I also worked on international auditing, reporting and industrial production operations projects, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, USA, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Iran, I have extensive experience working in rural areas of South America with multi-stakeholders. Throughout my career I worked as government affairs for the chemical and biotechnology sector (7 years), in the government as the environment and pollution secretary (8 years), in the meatpacking industry (5 years) and with environmental consultancy for licensing large construction works, landfill and highways, PCA Environment (2 years). More recently, while working as an independent consultant for industry and non-profits (4 years), I became involved in carbon and climate change issues.
