As a grad of the University of Miami in Marine Affairs, I feel called to protect the environment and rally others to make sustainable efforts worldwide.In the Galapagos, Miami, and beyond, I helped build sustainable community gardens for people impacted by COVID-19, protect the nesting grounds of endangered sea turtles, and ensure cleaner water for the people of Miami-Dade county.Equally adept at environmental education and the hands-on work that makes a difference, I work to ensure conservation is accessible—and meaningful—to people of all ages and socioeconomic status. In the field, I’m skilled at communicating directly to the public to educate and raise environmental awareness, while behind the scenes I’m experienced in infographic design, GIS map creation, and video production that inspire and influence others to effect change. My next adventure? Solar energy.
