Current portfolio includes: Construction, Architecture, Facility Support Services, HR Services, Communications / Social Responsibility, but have experience in all other commodities procured at MBLL.• Review company procurements (both Liquor and Lotteries) for opportunities to amalgamate and achieve operational efficiencies and/or cost savings.• Provide procurement support and strategic analysis to all clients from entry level to executive management in acquiring goods and services at the best possible value with the appropriate competitive bidding process that meet the strategic goals of the corporation.• Develop & evaluate requests for proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for multi year and large dollar value purchases.• Maintain contract records and liaise for any invoice, delivery or supplier performance issues. • Continually research and develop sustainable guidelines for my portfolio of commodities.• Provide guidance and developmental training to buyers as to the procurement processes and procedures. • Represent Corporate Procurement on various project teams in a lead or team member capacity.• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn and utilize customized or specialized software such as, but not limited to, Lawson IFMS system, Webnow, WCA database, PCL database, and Trim.• Multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment utilizing organizational and prioritization skills.• Superior customer service skills, with ability to deal effectively with internal customers and maintain good relationships with external vendors.
