The new children\'s musical is based on the Africa segment of a global documentary where an 11-year-old girl won a trip around the world to learn about the work of real missionaries. If enough churches and Christian schools embrace this project, the new musical will be used as a vehicle to cast a child in the lead role of a new missionary documentary to be shot on location in Africa. The original series has been shown in thousands of churches to introduce children to the work and world of missionaries. It was a No. 1 seller for a division of Thomas Nelson Publishers. The entire Mission Explorers series is available for viewing at Here’s how the audition process works in conjunction with the new musical: 1) Your organization performs this musical and records a video of your performance. 2) You send us a DVD of your performance. 3) We watch your DVD. If the new Africa documentary I plan to produce becomes fully funded, each child in your production of the musical will be auditioning for the lead role in the new, Africa missionary documentary.
