12 years working as a builder/carpenter in both New Zealand and England, with running my own building business for 3 years. Have now hung up the hammer and, after a fixed term contract working as an Environmental Compliance Officer in Pool Fencing for Tauranga City Council, am now working at Classic Builders as a Construction Manager. Back in the construction industry, albeit in a different mode. Very much enjoying being back in the construction industry and find a management role far more rewarding. I had a brief 6mo secondment to set up a new region in South Auckland (Drury/Hunua Views) at the end of 2020 and now I have worked my way through the ranks to running the Katikati Classic Builders Branch as it\'s inaugural Branch Manager - kicking off January 2021
