Manage and track the progress of VSH’s Annual Fund. Provide year-over-year analysis and comparisons of fundraising results.• Manage all aspects of the donor database in Bloomerang. Record gifts in Bloomerang and generate acknowledgement letters daily. • Maintain accurate donor records in Bloomerang and produce timely, segmented reports as needed for solicitations, invitations, donor recognitions, etc. • Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely deposits and monthly reconciliation. • Work with the Communications Officer to coordinate the logistics, preparation, and mailing of all appeal letters and special solicitations. • Develop, produce and manage more than fifty annual grant proposals and reports to foundations, corporations, individuals, community groups and congregations. • Complete annual registrations for VDACS Charitable Solicitation, CVC, NAP tax credits, etc. Keep registrations up to date for accreditation sites such as Guidestar, ConnectVA, Virginia211, etc. • Work with Director of Mission Advancement and Major Gifts Officer to plan and manage special events for purposes of donor cultivation and fundraising. • Execute and manage essential administrative duties for the department:o Provide staff support for Mission Advancement Committee and other special meetings (send out items in advance, maintain RSVP lists, etc.). o Keep meticulous, well-organized, up-to-date records in paper files and on the server, including donations received, correspondence received and sent, etc.o Work with Mission Advancement staff to ensure effective systemso Serve as minute-keeper for all Mission Advancement meetings.
