ABOUT BRYCE HOUSTON

I am proud to be the first football player accepted into Ohio University\'s Master of Business Administration Program. As a student-athlete, I have always been driven to excel on and off the field, and I am excited to break down barriers and challenge expectations. In my undergraduate studies, I pursued a degree in Finance and International Business, focusing on marketing, and a certificate in sales. These studies gave me a strong foundation in the business world and prepared me for success in various industries. However, I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship, and I am excited to focus on this area in my MBA studies. As a 3-year football team captain, I have learned the value of hard work, discipline, and leadership. I have also been a student leader for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Ohio University Athletics. I have worked to promote inclusivity and equity within our athletic community. Additionally, I am a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where I have had the opportunity to represent the interests and concerns of our student-athlete population. Through my involvement in the Schey Sales Center, I have developed my sales skills and gained valuable experience building client relationships. I traveled to Ghent, Belgium, with their sales team consulting Bekeart, one of Europe\'s biggest steel manufacturing companies, on how they can improve their business-to-business sales. I want to inspire others to do the same. As a football player pursuing an MBA in entrepreneurship, I prove that anything is possible with hard work, determination, and a willingness to take risks. I am excited to see where this journey takes me and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Ohio University\'s success.
