ABOUT BRYAN J TREACY
When I was 8 years old, I told my mother I wanted to be a doctor. She told me when I was older she thought that was a \"pie in the sky\" dream but when I started premedical education, she believed I had the drive to accomplish that goal. I have a 30 year history in clinical medicine but in 2017, the practice of medicine had changed so much that I felt a different approach was in order. I have transitioned into a consultant/advisor role for medical practices and a health coach for men and women experiencing difficulty understanding the medical system. I have found that one on one coaching with clients can help them understand what is going on with their health or disease process, as well as develop safe and effective strategies to maximize their health during the aging process. I have relationships with primary care doctors for clients who need medical intervention. Working together with a client helps maintain a monitoring program if medical intervention is indicated and allows a significant amount of teaching to occur, specifically regarding age management concepts. While in clinical practice, some of my accomplishments included: I developed and implemented the da Vincie robotic gynecologic surgery program at Midwest Regional Medical Center in 2008 and have served as a proctor for Intuitive Surgical systems. My surgical background has been in cost containment for inpatient GYN services, starting early in my career as an operative laparoscopic and vaginal surgeon, limiting the amount of open abdominal surgery since the early 1990s. I also developed and implemented in office procedures for cost containment starting in 1995. We began by performing hysteroscopy in the office and have transitioned into performing endometrial ablations, placement of Essure permanent contraceptive implants, labiaplasty and suburethral slings under local anesthesia and IV sedation.
