Appointed by the COO to lead enterprise-wide digital transformation—future-proofing Comfort Systems’ long-term market capitalization by mitigating disruption and accelerating the multibillion-dollar company’s market-leading position. Divide time between innovation strategy and programs, and corporate strategy and special projects for the board, with leadership focused on identifying and scaling innovations across Comfort Systems’ 40+ subsidiaries, investing in emerging technologies, and building new business models. Highlights include building an innovation strategy and roadmap to align strategic business goals with growth priorities for the employee company; integrating and modernizing the company’s technology stack and connected data / analytics; developing the overarching 5-year enterprise strategy; and identifying market trends of strategic significance. Responsible for the company’s relationships with venture capital and other external partners (e.g, start-ups, technology influencer networks). Lead a team of +30 technologists focused on improving processes and identifying, investigating, and piloting emerging technologies. Collaborate with operational leaders in all significant business units. Drive the evolution of the enterprise data strategy and I.T. infrastructure.
