ABOUT BRIGHT DUBE
I\'m a Project Manager with a background that spans capital project delivery, infrastructure risk assessment, and data-driven problem solving.Currently, I manage an active historic restoration project at the Ellis Island Museum as part of a major federal rehabilitation program, with previous involvement in the Brooklyn Bridge rehabilitation project. Delivering on nationally significant infrastructure in New York has sharpened how I think about project governance, stakeholder management, and the complexity of operating in high-visibility, tightly regulated environments. Before moving into project management, I spent several years in insurance risk and large-loss claims across Southern Africa — assessing structural vulnerabilities, investigating major property damage events, and helping insurers quantify and mitigate exposure on complex commercial assets. My MSc research at the University of Cape Town explored how deep learning and UAV technology can automate visual bridge inspections — work I completed in 2020, well before AI became a mainstream conversation. Alongside my day-to-day project work, I\'ve built custom data analytics tools to track and optimize field performance in real time.I\'m drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of technical complexity, risk, and data — and I\'m always looking for ways to bring sharper analytical thinking into how infrastructure projects are structured and delivered.
