He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and RIMS Fellow (RF) professional designations. He served on the RIMS Technology Advisory Council from 2002 to 2005 and was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Utah Captive Insurance Association (UCIA), serving from 2006 to 2010.
