Leading Node.js/React development teams which support the modernization of the SSA\'s disability claims systems - Manage 11 Leidos developers across 4 teams. Onboard new development resources, facilitate design and architecture discussions, enforce best practices and processes, and ensure code quality- Technical lead of the Case Processing team. Prioritize and lead Case Processing development efforts, backlog grooming meetings and sprint plannings, as well as resolve all team technical blockers - Successfully deliver all planned Case Processing functionality for each bi-monthly release since the initial MVP in September 2018 - Debug and triage production issues as they arise, and participate in the monthly deployment process to ensure a successful product release - Work closely with other developers to quickly iterate and improve code quality, allowing all critical code for each release to be merged into the code base before code cutoff, with the appropriate validation and testing - Collaborate with automation architect to push forward new initiative which empowers developers to write automation tests in Javascript and Selenium as part of the front-end development workflow, increasing automation test coverage and building a more robust test suite- Author and maintain the API guidelines documentation, which provides guidance on code structure, error handling, logging, and general RESTful principles, ensuring consistent standards for all teams - Lead cross-team architecture and design sessions to ensure that new and upcoming features satisfy the requirements, and meet the latest conventions and standards - Lead a bi-monthly developer forum, creating a platform to tackle technical challenges, and share reusable code, best practices, evolving standards and workflow enhancements among all development teams - Review and provide feedback on all pull requests, preventing integration gaps and ensuring code quality, standards and best practices are consistently followed
