I lead a team of 10 data analytics and reporting experts to help Target\'s Human Resources pyramid make better data driven decisions. I play an active role as a strategic partner in developing and maturing Talent Analytics capabilities at Target. In my role I consult with senior leaders within the organization to help them understand how to use data to transform their organization, develop and test hypothesis, and partner with them to turn insight into action that drives measurable results. I coach and mentor my team to foster a deep understanding of business and business process that serves as the foundation for delivering impactful work. I support them in applying data science techniques, analysis and compelling story telling to help them influence our stakeholders to improve their decision making. Our team has built a deep expertise in a broad set of tools and skills to help support and accelerate Target\'s Talent Analytics journey. We use both internal and external visualization and analytics platforms. We also use open source languages, like Python and R, to help wrangle, explore, analyze, conduct statistical analysis, and develop insightful and actionable models on big data platforms to inform decision making. I have a passion for working across our organization to elevate the type of working being asked for and delivered through our analytics function within HR. All with the goal to help our teams make data driven decisions that can provide meaningful and measurable impact to the business.
