Provides technical leadership for Duke Energy’s multi-year program to deliver a consolidated ADMS across all jurisdictions. The GE-developed solution consists of a consolidated distribution and outage management system including SCADA and other interfacing systems. This enterprise solution runs on approximately 400 Windows and Linux servers operating out of multiple data centers. The solution is utilized to manage the distribution grid and restore outages to Duke’s approximate 8 million regulated utility customers. The ADMS solution also provides near real-time information to customer channels and operational reporting data.• Provides oversight for the pre-production life cycle of the ADMS product from infrastructure acquisition, software deployment, version control management, and validation of non-functional aspects of the system including load management and performance. • Deployed ADMS 3.10 to Duke Energy Florida in December \'22• Led the ADMS technical transition from version 3.10 to the newer, more advanced ADMS version 16. This included a major architectural change which shifted corporate hardware from the Diamanti on-prem platform to the cloud (and utilizes dedicated containers which better aligned with vendor recommendations.• Plans and oversees frequent software deliveries from GE and ensures the Program’s five environments are upgraded in a timely manner to support both internal and customer-facing events including product testing, end-to-end testing, training, and go-live readiness• Oversees non-functional testing activities for the GE product to ensure defects are identified and communicated to the vendor in a timely manner• Responsible for both short and long-term Program planning to ensure that work plans are well-defined, decomposed, and ultimately completed on time. Works closely with both Duke and external partners/vendors to ensure Program-level objectives and business value is achieved to meet project timelines and regulatory commitments
