ABOUT BRIAN GOLDEN
I am a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and journalist and consultant. My passion, in all my work, is telling stories that make the case for progressive values and a more safe and just world. I have almost a decade experience working on both the back and front ends of mission-driven organizations, working as an office administrator and as a classroom teacher for groups of 25-450 military members and college students. As a creative writer, my television pilot THE BANG was a winner of the 2016 Page International Screenwriting Awards, and has been honored by The Black List, Screencraft Pilot Launch, Acclaim TV and the TV Staffing Book. My original plays have been produced in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis and Philadelphia and earned nominations for three Jeff Awards, two Black Theatre Alliance Awards, and one Ovation Award.
