Information Security Officer with 30+ years in Information Technology and 25 years at SBLI (Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance).I lead SBLI’s enterprise cybersecurity program, protecting systems, data, and operations within a regulated financial services environment. My role encompasses cybersecurity strategy, enterprise and emerging technology risk management, regulatory alignment, third-party risk oversight, incident response, security awareness, and policy governance.My career progression—from desktop support to engineering, network leadership, Security Administrator, and ultimately Information Security Officer—has provided a deep technical foundation combined with a governance-driven, business-aligned approach to security. I have led and overseen security across infrastructure, applications, identity and access management, vendor ecosystems, and business continuity and resilience planning.In recent years, my scope has expanded to include AI governance and emerging technology risk, ensuring responsible adoption of AI through risk-based controls, vendor due diligence, policy development, and alignment with evolving regulatory and compliance expectations. I work closely with executive leadership, IT, legal, audit, and business teams to enable innovation while maintaining strong security, privacy, and operational resilience.I maintain ongoing professional development through industry conferences and forums including RSA Conference, SecureWorld, and others. I am an active member of ISC², ISACA, and ISSA, and hold CISSP and CISM certifications.
