Blue Yonder is a global provider of End-to-End Supply Chain solutions across multiple industries, with one of the focus industries being Retail.Retail has been my passion for more than 35 years, both working directly within a retail organisation, where I first designed and built retail software (in COBOL no less), then moving to software companies that included implementing solutions, managing consulting teams, and of course participating in solution sales as well - the entire goal in all of this has been to achieve the optimal outcome for the retail organisation.Sometimes this involved challenging conventional thinking, which can be delicate given \"you don\'t know what you don\'t know\", and that\'s a key part of bringing an organisation on the journey on what is possible. Which brings me to Blue Yonder. At BY we are pushing the envelope in a strategic and thoughtful manner to change the retail paradigm. Imagine seamless business processes with real-time collaboration between staff and external parties, a system that is always monitoring the flow of inventory across the supply chain and autonomously making recommendations back to the business user, a system sensing the customer sentiment and demand, then subsequently altering the supply chain accordingly, or coaching (co-pilot) the business user on a better outcome.A Merchandising system that performs all of the complex and necessary functions to optimally operate a retail business, while leveraging Generative AI to reduce the time consuming but necessary activities.This is Blue Yonder.
