Responsible for the overall operations of business development strategies within Post-Acute Care Services. Develops and oversees business development activities geared toward growth within the Post-Acute Care Service lines: Acute Rehabilitation Center, Transitional Care Unit, Home Health, Hospice, Palliative Care, Behaviorial Health, and Outpatient social work. In partnership with the Vice President of Post-Acute Care Services, the Director of Strategy & Business Development is responsible for helping shape the strategic expansion through internal development, partnership, and pursuing new opportunities for growth and revenue diversification. • Acts as an internal consultant for Post-Acute Care Services with senior leadership to support strategic decisions about entering new businesses or service lines and developing the make-build-buy-partner analysis and associated business plans to execute on an appropriate market entry strategy. • Collaborates with Finance, Marketing and Operations on initiatives to increase patient acquisition and revenue for existing post-acute programs. • Acts as a key figure involved in the development of new Post-Acute Care service lines that may include conducting focus group testing to determine how a new service line will be received, and report back to executive leadership. • Evaluates and develops strategies to optimize existing service lines. Oversees targeted growth and development activities in partnership with marketing, physician outreach, and business development efforts at the PHWH, PHDH and PHGSH hospitals, PHP clinics, IPAs, and overall system-level marketing teams. • Directs and implement census development strategies for Post-Acute Care service lines. • Directs, conducts and supports appropriate data collection, market intelligence, business analysis and assesses internal/external subject matter expertise to drive business development or expansion in a variety of clinical/ancillary service lines.
