ABOUT BRENDAN M. CURRAN
Brendan M. Curran is a Senior Analyst and Systems Engineer in the Asymmetric Operations Sector’s Constrained Cyber Solutions Group at the Johns Hopkins - Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) where he focuses on ensuring U.S. advantage in the space and cyberspace domains. Prior to joining APL in July 2023, Brendan served twenty-five years in the U.S. Army as both an active-duty Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officer in the fields of engineering, intelligence, communications (signal), and space operations. Over the course of his military career Brendan integrated special technical capabilities in support of military activities throughout Europe, Southwest Asia, and Africa. His professional passions include operational design, unconventional warfare, technology strategy, and developing the next generation of national security professionals. When not gazing up at the stars or staring into the abyss of cyberspace, Brendan can be found immersed in gardening and herpetology.
