As the Internal Communications Designer at AbCellera, I work collaboratively with all teams to provide design and learning solutions tailored to their unique needs. In my role, I collaborate closely with executives to integrate design principles into strategic initiatives, ensuring that our visual communications are both effective and aligned with our organizational goals. My background in learning design allows me to create impactful training materials that engage and educate employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development at AbCellera.My responsibilities encompass a broad range of duties, including but not limited to- Leading the development of AbCellera\'s global internal branding initiatives, ensuring a consistent visual identity across all internal communications, presentations, and events- Utilizing my extensive expertise in digital design to conceptualize and create visually compelling designs for our internal learning management system, intranet, and digital signage platforms- Producing engaging copy that complements visual elements, enhancing the impact of our internal collateral- Managing vendor relationships for internal collateral and event-specific needs, ensuring alignment with organizations that share our values and ethos- Planning and executing large-scale events, accommodating over 700 attendees across British Columbia- Designing both the front and back end of courses for our internal Learning Management System, drawing on my experience as a university instructor and my knowledge of learning design systems and best practices.
