ABOUT BRANDON NEUFELD
I have been lucky enough to have a career wearing many hats with a throughline of creating exceptional business outcomes through thoughtful strategic management. I started in A/V project management in 2007 working on sales, system design, team leadership, and client relationships. Here I grew our number of builder and renovator relationships and drove growth within each while moving the practice forward in technical, high end, custom solutions. I moved into Industrial Automation project management in 2012 where I was able to leverage my background in electronics engineering to help design, test, deploy, and manage large life safety and evacuation system projects. In this role I was proud to make working in environments as disparate as tsunami vulnerable West coast communities and major oil and gas facilities safer. In 2021 I had the opportunity to join an IT managed services provider and use my experience to lead an enterprise endpoint management team, break down a siloed project delivery structure and help build a company-wide PMO, and create an entirely new business unit focused on modern A/V design, installation, and services in both enterprise and SMB portfolios. Under my leadership this A/V team has greatly grown in size, structure, and membership including multiple large enterprise accounts and provincial governments who have standardized their support expectations with the model developed by my team and I. Here I am most proud of the teams I\'ve been able to build, careers supported, and emerging leaders mentored and developed. I am known on my various teams as a strong problem solver and decision maker who listens and understands issues that arise and collaborates with the appropriate stakeholders to decisively determine a path forward. Clients and colleagues also have a history of awarding me the role of a trusted advisor who is always there to help roadmap and develop strategies to face upcoming changes and risks. I am a quick learner who enjoys being challenged and having the opportunity to dive into new projects or understand new technical solutions and their potential applications. I am passionate about giving back both to the community and professionally. I have both sought out and created opportunities to volunteer with a focus on doing good locally. I also consider mentorship, both receiving and giving, a foundational need in any professional role. The perspectives and lessons learned by developing those relationships are invaluable.
