With over 20 years of experience in the utility industry, I am a manager of AMI systems at Alabama Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company. I oversee the operations and support of the advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) network, which enables smart grid applications and customer services for millions of customers across Alabama.As a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) and a holder of an MBA degree, I combine technical and business skills to deliver innovative and reliable solutions for AMI network management, optimization, and performance. I have a strong background in electrical engineering, power systems, power distribution, and radio frequency (RF) engineering, as well as a passion for wireless communications and battery/storage technology.
