Electronics Technician - Repairs & ProjectsOverview:Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic/electrical systems and computers on cranes and mobile equipment. Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability.Objectives:Maximize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in all maintenance activities.Ensure equipment reliability through strategic maintenance.Comply with DPW Safety standards, engineering procedures, and UK regulations.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair electronic/electrical components on cranes and mobile equipment.Develop knowledge of PLC software across various equipment.Maintain and repair crane computer systems.Assist with equipment delivery, inspection, and commissioning.Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.Document all activities in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).Contribute to method statements and risk assessments for operations.Required Skills:Reverse engineering expertiseStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skillsExperience in feasibility studies and technology evaluationTeam-oriented approachIdeal candidates will have a strong technical background in electronics and electrical systems, with both practical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
