ABOUT PAUL BOYER
I build and run operations that scale. With nearly a decade of Director/Senior Director-level leadership across biotech - from large established companies to scrappy growth-stage startups - I know how to set the strategy and also do the work to execute it.My career background is in operations, procurement, and supply chain, but the through-line in everything I do is this: I embed into my stakeholders\' business, understand what they actually need, and provide the systems, teams, and/or processes to deliver it. It is not in my nature to hand things off and disappear. I stay close to the work and ensure the job is done right. What I bring to a fast-moving organization- I have led cross-functional teams at every level and size, driven complex system implementation and CAPEX projects, designed and deployed programs at a corporate scale, and negotiated high-stakes sourcing and procurement deals- I\'m comfortable in the boardroom and equally comfortable benchside with researchers. When something is broken or ambiguous, I aim to simplify it, develop a plan, and implement it- I enjoy connecting the dots and figuring out how teams, individuals, and service providers can work together to deliver durable results.I am always interested in conversations with people building something meaningful in biotech, whether that\'s comparing notes, solving a hard problem, or just connecting with others who care about effective operations in this industry.
