ABOUT BLAKE FOGELSONG
With over 15 years in the hospitality game, I’m the co-owner of Clancy’s Hospitality — a growing family of seven restaurants across Indiana and Ohio, including The Fountain Room, Grindstone Public House, Grindstone on the Monon, Michaelangelo’s Italian Bistro, Grindstone Charley’s, and the legendary Clancy’s Hamburgers. At the heart of it all, I’m passionate about building restaurants that don’t just serve great food, but tell a story — places with soul, style, and a sense of belonging. Every concept we open is designed to reflect the character of its community, with a focus on food, service, and design that leaves a lasting impression.I hold a degree in Marketing and Professional Selling from Ball State University, and I put it to work every day — from curating menus that stand out, to driving brand strategy and customer loyalty through social media and good old-fashioned hospitality. I also take pride in coaching our teams to deliver warm, technically excellent service — the kind that makes every guest feel like they’re at home, just with better lighting and food.Outside the day-to-day, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association, where I help shape the future of our industry. I also serve on the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville, where I play an active role in advancing programs that support the educational, social, health, cultural, and leadership development of local youth. My mission? Simple: to use hospitality as a force for connection, community, and joy.
