The department of radiation oncology at Umass Memorial Medical Center supports five centers with seven TrueBeams, five CT simulators, and one HDR afterloader system. I played an active role within two centers in Worcester, Ma and one in Fitchburg, Ma helping to oversee daily patient IMRT QA testing, addressing mechanical problems, small projects to improve efficiencies, and supported monthly and annual imaging/mechanical/output testing. I really enjoy using my knowledge of physics, computers, and construction to support excellence in Radiation Oncology treatment and patient care.
