ABOUT MARISSA STEDMAN

I don\'t believe there is any stop to learning. Respiratory therapy is a constantly growing and changing field; I enjoy researching and improving on myself and my skills to be the most effective clinician and friend. I strongly believe in equality across all genders, identities, and cultures, and will always advocate for my patient and teammates. Over the course of my healthcare career I have trained and cared for people through their full span of life from infancy to end of life and continue to improve on those age appropriate interactions. Most meaningfully, however, my strong background as a CNA has shown me exactly what it means to function as a strong team member, an effective communicator, and identify when it is the best to just be a good human. I have continued to develop my skills specializing as an ECMO specialist and earning an Adult Critical Care Specialist certification. I prioritize leading with authenticity and kindness.
