ABOUT BIRUTE SKURDENIS

For more than 30 years, I\'ve been involved in asset management and training managers of affordable housing. I\'ve now decided to retire but I’m not really retiring as I will continue to provide asset management oversight to Merritt’s partners. I prefer to call it realignment, although there are a number of words starting with “re” that would be equally apt. Recommitment, re-positioning, re-purposing, etc. I am off to discover a new relationship to work-life balance. I will continue to teach a one day class on LIHTC Compliance through the NeighborWorks Training Institute with an emphasis on the partnership relationship. Specialties: Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance
