Preparation of extrusion systems (includes disassembly,cleaning,and assembly extruders,melt-pumps,crossheads,tooling and all associated equipments) according established procedures.* Troubleshoot and run extruders,adjust as necessary to meet drawings specifications.* Documentation of process parameters,observations and discrepancies.* Sizing of extrusion using different measurement equipment (vision system,zumbach SPC controls,laser mike,caliper,micrometer,pin/ring guages)and statistcal process control with the use of manual and electronic systems.* Participate in process development and perform validations for eventual manufacturing release of product.* Interact with internal departments to solve Manufacturing and Quality problems.Run DOE,R&D,NPD,Multilumens,Bump,Double taper,Co-ex stripe,Co-ex daulayers,trilayers,over coating on biding,wires,fibers etc.* Trained new employees and cross trained fellow workers.* performed constant process monitoring and inspection to insure product quality met GMP standards.* Supervise and help all the team members when needed.
