ABOUT BINAL JANI
With 15+ years of experience in internal, external and change communications, I bring a people-centred change management approach to everything from major transformations to on-going engagement and communication strategies.I’ve worked in both perm and interim positions across different industries. A lot of those contracts have led to extensions or repeat business (which I always take as a good sign!). In total, I’ve completed: 10 contracts 5 permanent roles A year teaching English in Japan and six months working in New York The last two were early in my career - and I still love to travel and actively seek out new experiences, both personally and professionally.I’ve also worked with some brilliant teams over the years, and together we’ve picked up five Awards of Excellence from the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) for: Best Change Communication Best Engagement Programme Best Multi-Channel Campaign Best Intranet (on SharePoint) Best Feature MagazineAdditionally, I’m Prosci certified and I’ve been on the national IoIC awards judging panel for the last years - always an excellent opportunity to work with fellow judges to review and celebrate the best of the best communications. One of the things I enjoy most is adapting what I know across different industries and programmes, and making a measurable impact. Previous clients have included: • Network Rail - 4 contracts (rail / transport, public sector) • PwC / Epion, EY, Afiniti Consulting (professional services / consultancy) • Belron International, Britvic, Sainsbury’s Argos (consumer goods) • Lloyds Banking Group, Money Advice Service (financial services) • St Andrew’s Healthcare (healthcare / charity)🤖 Lately, I’ve been leaning into what AI means for communications (and beyond!)- so I’ve been doing some formal training over the last 18 months to explore both the risks and the opportunities it presents.Something else I enjoy is mentoring a fellow communications professional as part of the IoIC’s volunteer programme to help them grow in confidence and capability, and give back to our industry. ⏭ ⏭ ⏭I’m now looking ahead to my next assignment or role - interim, FTC or perm, part-time or full-time; I’m open and flexible. Ideally a hybrid or remote role, but I believe good relationships will make almost any set-up work.If you are (or know) an organisation looking for a strategic, creative and energetic communications partner and leader, please contact me as I’d love to connect and continue the conversation.
