ABOUT BILL ANAYA

Bill Anaya is the vice president of Global Government Affairs for Coupang. Prior to joining Coupang, Bill was the Head of International Government Relations, The Americas, with Alibaba Group. Previously, Bill served in one of America\'s leading law firms, Alston & Bird, where he advised category-leading clients regarding their business before Congress, federal agencies and the Administration. He was the leader of the Firm’s political law practice. Prior to private legal practice firm, Bill served as vice president of global government affairs in Motorola\'s Washington, D.C. office. Before his work with Motorola, Bill was an advisor to one of the nation\'s leading members of Congress, Representative John Dingell, chairman-emeritus of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. Bill has worked with key government and industry stakeholders on highly complex business challenges, including representing client interests on matters involving technology, communications, energy, environment, financial services, intellectual property, transportation, tax, health, and trade, as well as appropriations, research and development, government procurement, regulatory mandates and global competitiveness priorities.
