I\'m a post-graduate engineer specialised in Transport Modelling with over 9 years of professional experience developing multi-modal transport models and I\'m passionate about public transport modelling.I worked for wide range of projects across the UK, Turkey, Dubai, Oman & India using Visum, Cube Voyager and SATURN. He has experience developing demand matrices from bigdata sources such as mobile network data, GPS data using python and also using conventional sources like road side interviews and home interview surveys. He has good knowledge of TAG guidelines and data collection requirements for transport studies. He has experience leading and collaborating with teams across the countries, sub-consultants and clients working for multi-disciplinary projects ensuring the quality of the deliverables.He has worked for the full lifecycle of the multi-modal transport model development starting from data collection, highway model calibration, public transport model calibration and variable demand model development for the national models of Turkey and Oman directly liaising with the clients. Collaborated with several teams to pin down critical technical outcomes appraising high profile transport infrastructure projects with capital cost of billions of pounds including expressways, high speed rail, regional rail, metro, BRT and travel demand measures such as tolls, cordon pricing and parking measures.He has recently led the Visum based public transport model development for North Hampshire which is used for assessment of the local plan. He is currently leading the public transport model development for Merseytravel and is the coordination lead for multi-modal model development for Gloucestershire using Visum and SATURN. I love to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency using Python/VBA and a great enthusiast of data analysis and data visualisation tools in Python/Jupyter Notebook. Member of Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT), UK and working towards CEng via standard route.
